Traffic Signal Out at PVDN, Hawthorne
Drivers should expect delays near the intersection of Palos Verdes Drive North and Hawthorne Boulevard.
A traffic signal is still out at the intersection of Palos Verdes Drive North and Hawthorne Boulevard in Rolling Hills Estates, according to a message from the city of Rancho Palos Verdes.
The signal went out mid-morning Tuesday and was still out as of about 5 p.m.
A traffic signal crew is on its way; in the meantime, drivers should expect delays, according to the alert.
Traffic data from Google Maps indicates backups on both Hawthorne Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive North.
It's unclear whether the traffic signal malfunction is related to the road work being performed on Palos Verdes Drive North as part of the bike lane project.
