Steve Burrell to Serve as Rolling Hills City Manager

The former Hermosa Beach city manager will step into shoes vacated by Anton "Tony" Dahlerbruch.

Steve Burrell, the former Hermosa Beach city manager who retired in March 2012, will take over as interim city manager in Rolling Hills this spring, according to the Daily Breeze.

Current Rolling Hills City Manager and City Clerk Tony Dahlerbruch, 51, was appointed to the city manager post in Palos Verdes Estates, according to a news release from the neighboring city. Dahlerbruch will start June 3 in Palos Verdes Estates.

"I'm hoping to be there for a long time," he told the Breeze. "It was a very difficult decision … It's an opportunity that provides more opportunities."

Burrell announced his retirement from the city manager post in Hermosa Beach in January 2012, a position he'd held for 18 years.
