Autopsy Conducted on Body Found in Burned SUV

The body of Christopher Waters was discovered in a charred SUV on Tuesday.

Though the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy Thursday on the body discovered in a burning sport utility vehicle in Rancho Palos Verdes, the cause of death may not be known for two months, the Daily Breeze reported Thursday evening.

The after firefighters were called to douse a vehicle fire in the 30100 block of Miraleste Drive.

Coroner's officials told the Daily Breeze that the toxicology tests could take up to two months to complete, and cause of death—whether homicide, accident, suicide or natural causes—would not be released until those tests are completed.
