Michelle Villoria, Neighbor

Michelle attended college at UCSB, where she not only received a BA in English, but also discovered her passion for creative writing and slam poetry.  After graduating, she worked as an elementary school teacher, and later moved on to run Operations for two prominent corporations in Southern California.  She is excited to be a part of the Patch.com team and is eager to write about the same city she grew up in!

When she's not writing or dabbling in books, you can find Michelle spending time with family, friends, and her crazy little Boston Terrier, Pumba.  She loves traveling, learning about new cultures, finding the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and being outdoors.
