Los Angeles County Fire Department Fire Station #83

Fire Station #83 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department serves the city of Rancho Palos Verdes from Miraleste Plaza. The station is one of eight that make up Battalion 14, serving the Palos Verdes Peninsula as well as Lomita, Rolling Hills and even Two Harbors and Avalon on Catalina Island. In addition to the fire house engine, a smaller fire engine patrols the backroads and trails of Rancho Palos Verdes.
