Monday Essentials: Elections!

Here are some things to look forward to this week on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know this week:

  1. There will be elections in Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes this year; however, the filing deadline will likely be extended in other races. Stay tuned to Palos Verdes Patch for the latest information on candidates.
  2. The Rolling Hills City Council will meet at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Monday (agenda). The Rolling Hills Estates City Council will meet in its City Council Chambers at 7 p.m. Tuesday (agenda). The Palos Verdes Estates City Council does not meet in August.
  3. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting at the Malaga Cove Administration Center at 4:30 p.m. Monday (agenda).
