PV Girl Scouts Earn Silver Award
Katherine Haig, Christine Miller, Katy Priest and Alyssa Yeh are seventh-grade Girl Scouts in Palos Verdes.
Four seventh-graders in Palos Verdes have earned the Girl Scouts' Silver Award, the Palos Verdes Peninsula News reported.
Katherine Haig, Christine Miller, Katy Priest and Alyssa Yeh earned the award by crafting dog and cat toys for the spcaLA shelter in Long Beach, as well as educating children at the Boys & Girls Club of San Pedro about adoption from shelters.
The Silver Award is the Girl Scouts' second-highest honor.
