Tree-Trimming Along PVDN to Cause Delays

Tree-trimming this week along Palos Verdes Drive North in Palos Verdes Estates likely will cause traffic delays, as vehicles will be detoured around work crews, police said today.

The detour around westbound Palos Verdes Drive North between Via Colusa and Via Alameda will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department.

At Via Colusa, traffic will be directed to Via La Selva, Via Anita and Via Alameda before being returned to Palos Verdes Drive North, police said.

No parking signs will be posted on Via La Selva between Via Colusa and Via Anita and along one block of Via Anita to accommodate the detour, police said.

"Expect delays and use caution when driving through the detour," a police statement said. "Consider alternate routes."
