Expect Delays Along PVDW, PVDS

Drivers should use "extreme caution" when traveling on Palos Verdes Drive West and Palos Verdes Drive South.

Construction on the city of Rancho Palos Verdes segment of the California Coastal Trail began Monday and will last several weeks, according to a notice from RPV city staff.

"Construction work on this trail project will occur in the parkway area along Palos Verdes Drive West/South (eastbound) between the City of Palos Verdes Estates and (San Pedro)," according to the email. "Traffic control measures will be placed along the construction route and motorists are advised to use extreme caution when traveling within the construction zone."

The CCT is an interconnected public trail system that winds along the California coastline, according to the California Coastal Commission.

For more information on the project, contact RPV Construction Project Manager Bindu Vaish at 310-544-5252 or binduv@rpv.com. More info on the CCT can be found at californiacoastaltrail.info.
