A film shoot for a television commercial may temporarily disrupt traffic on Palos Verdes Drive South and Palos Verdes Drive West between Seacove Drive and Hawthorne Boulevard on Wednesday, according to an alert from the city of Rancho Palos Verdes.

"The production will be staging in the parking lot at Pelican Cove (i.e., the former fishing access near the Terranea Resort) beginning at 1 p.m.," according to the notice. "Motorists and bicyclists should anticipate the possibility of minor delays during filming activity."

The shoot, which is scheduled for 2-6 p.m., involves driving shots on the two Palos Verdes drives.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lomita Station will provide traffic control as needed, and RPV Recreation and Parks staff will monitor the base camp/staging area at Pelican Cove.

The RPV Public Works Department has issued an encroachment permit as part of the film permit.

Questions should be directed to the RPV Film Permit Desk at 310-544-5226 or film@rpv.com.
