Peninsula Panthers Boys JV Team puts it all together to defeat Pasadena HS!

Panthers Put Everything Together to Earn a Victory over Pasadena High School.

On Saturday, the Peninsula Boys JV Team went to Westchester HS to face a very big and athletic Pasadena HS Team. This was the Panthers' fourth game of this very young season, and the progress this young team made in the past week became very visible during this contest.

The Panthers, who play a very fast-paced style with intense pressure on the defensive side of the ball, put an explosive offensive display together and walked away a victor in this contest. The Panthers caused numerous turn-overs from their pressure defense, and the inconsistent shooting that had plague the Panthers in the first three contests was not a problem.

The Panthers used a steady balance of inside play and outside shooting to wear down the taller Pasadena Team to take a 78-50 victory in the final game of the tournament.

The Panthers were led by Kurt Milch who netted 22 points, 7 rebounds, Kurt Murakami added 10 points, Jake Frasso added 8 points and Jack Stanten and Cameron Tong both added 7 a piece in the victory. The Panthers are now off until Dec. 12 when they travel to Bishop Montgomery High School to take on the Knights, who are a very big, disciplined and athletic team. This will be a great test of the young Panthers and it should add up to a very exciting contest.
