This is the second annual SK8 the Hill event in Rolling Hills Estates. The first of last year and attracted about 100 people from across the South Bay.

“It’s surprising that the South Bay, for how many skaters we have out here, doesn’t have nearly as many parks as some areas do," said professional skateboarder and co-owner of Girl Skateboards and Lakai Footwear, Rick Howard at last year's event. "A skate park here would be a good start for sure.”
