'Skate Jam' to Benefit Skatepark PV
Proceeds from Sunday's Torrance event will go to local nonprofit Skatepark PV, Inc.
A Torrance skating event this weekend will raise money for local nonprofit Skatepark PV, a group pushing for a skateboarding spot in Palos Verdes.
Sunday's event, presented by Vanguard Surf and Skate, will feature trick contests, music, prizes, food and beverages.
It will be held from noon until dark at 5205 Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance.
