Secluded from the hustle and bustle of busy streets, Del Cerro, in Rancho Palos Verdes, allows you to hear the simple sounds of birds chirping, wind howling and trees rustling.

Most trails will loop around the hilly area, but don’t be fooled. The hike might seem like a piece of cake on the way down, but the incline back to the top isn’t for the faint of heart. Who said you can’t take a breather or a sip of water here and there to recuperate?

Trump National Golf Club

Don’t let looks fool you. might be a place to play golf, drink and dine, however, it's also a place people come to hike. Located right off of Palos Verdes Drive South in Rancho Palos Verdes, the hiking trails allow you to walk directly down to the ocean.

With trails beginning between holes on the golf course, you can enjoy the view on benches right at the edge of the hill. On most clear days, you can even see all of Catalina.

Walk on trails that loop down the hill and are each about equal distance and difficulty.

Bluff’s Cove

Views of downtown L.A.? Check. The Hollywood sign? Check. Griffith Observatory? Check.

All of this, along with views of South Bay beach communities, can be seen on any clear day at Bluff’s Cove in Palos Verdes Estates.

The hiking trail, which begins at the intersection of Palos Verdes Drive West and Paseo Del Mar, runs parallel to the ocean.

As you amble down the trail, hear the loud roar of waves crashing, see flocks of Pelicans flapping their wings and surfers riding waves.

A flat trail in comparison to others throughout the Palos Verdes area, it has recently become overgrown with bushes and trees, however, it's still easy to navigate and is as beautiful and green as ever.
