Get out your hiking boots and come explore the incredible Palos Verdes Nature Preserve after the sun sets. Mountain Recreation and Conservation Authority Park Rangers lead participants on moderate night hikes through the Portuguese Bend Reserve Nature Reserve by moonlight while providing information about the Preserve and hiking safety tips.
Participants must be at least 7 years old and participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Participants should bring closed toed shoes, water, a flashlight and a jacket. Hikes are canceled by rain.
First Night Hike on Saturday, February 19, 2011 is FREE! All other hikes are $7.
