PVPUSD Releases College Destination List

Students graduating from Palos Verdes and Palos Verdes Peninsula High Schools will be attending prestigious universities across the country.

Graduating seniors from Palos Verdes and Palos Verdes Peninsula high schools will be attending a wide range of colleges and universities in the fall, according to a list released last week by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District.

In a notice posted on the district's website, school officials said the list contains "highly selective private universities, like Stanford University, big state schools such as The Ohio State University, and small liberal arts colleges like Middlebury College in Vermont."

Other schools on the list—which features 103 schools—include Harvard University, Yale University, Carnegie Mellon University, Duke, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Arizona State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Rutgers, UCLA, West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy and Washington University in St. Louis.
