PV Florists Still Taking Orders for Prom Corsages, Boutonnieres

Prom procrastinators can still adorn their dates with arrangements of baby roses on color-coordinated ribbon thanks to a handful of Palos Verdes floral shops taking orders through Saturday.

seniors will attend their prom at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Skirball Cultural Center.

For students still scrambling to find the perfect corsages and boutonnieres, here's a list of local florists happy to help. seniors, who still have a week to prepare, can use the list to plan ahead for their prom night. 

The shop is taking orders through Saturday, but students should order today because prices will rise "significantly" for day-of requests. A spray rose corsage with baby roses is $27.95; with orchids is $29.95; combination of both is $32.95. Boutonnieres are $12.95 with roses and $14.95 with orchids.

The spray rose corsage is the most popular during prom season, said Jody Rosenthal, who works at the shop.

"We always do a lot here," she said.

Pick up corsages at this flower shop for $35. They'll take orders through Saturday.

Bling wristlet corsages at the Rolling Hills Estates Pavilions start at $16.99. Boutonnieres are $9.99 for a single rose. Students can place orders through Saturday, but should call by 7 p.m. tonight for guaranteed pricing.
