Peninsula Students Celebrate Yo-Ho Homecoming

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School students celebrate homecoming week.

Despite a loss to Mira Costa in Friday afternoon's game, Palos Verdes Peninsula High School students appeared to have a whale of a time during last week's pirate-themed homecoming celebration.

Decorations for the Yo-Ho Homecoming included a model pirate ship in the ampitheater, and gold necklaces around the neck of the panther statue.

During the game, the school announced the homecoming court. Seniors Alyson Kim and Anna Wood were named senior princess and homecoming queen, respectively, while seniors Louie Enriquez and Michael Hashimoto were named senior prince and homecoming king, respectively.
