The Palos Verdes Peninsula High School speech and debate team brought back numerous awards last month after attending the Fall League Individual Event Tournament held in Culver City.
The tournamnet featured every high school in the South Bay, including Peninsula, and according to principal Mitzi Cress, the students did "phenomenally well."
During the tournament, Peninsula was awarded two sweepstakes awards in addition the the multiple other honors.
