Palos Verdes Library District Presents: One Book, One Peninsula

Palos Verdes Library District proudly presents prize-winning Los Angeles Times journalist and best-selling author Steve Lopez for its 2012 One Book, One Peninsula annual event. His inspiring book, The Soloist, will be featured.

Where: Peninsula Center Library rooftop

A California native, Steve Lopez is the author of three novels and a non-fiction work, The Soloist . Released to great acclaim in 2008, the book is based on columns Lopez wrote for the Times about his unlikely friendship with downtown LA musician, Nathaniel Ayers. In 2009, the book was adapted into a major motion picture.

The author's talk will be followed by a book signing. Copies of The Soloist will be made available for purchase at the event.
