Blog: College Admission Season 2013!

If your student plans to go to college, read this blog. Remember, college is too important and expensive to just "wing-it."

Complete College Consulting Update for 2013.

  • My clients got into 70 percent of the colleges where they applied.
  • My clients got merit aid from $32,000 to $148,000 over 4 years.
  • My clients got the most need-based aid possible.

This is the time of the year that most high school seniors have been anticipating for months. After many years of hard work, testing, applications, and stress it is now time to make a decision about their college selection. Hopefully, your student has many options and a family college decision can be made based upon academic, social, and financial fit.

Every year the admission process changes with respect to; admit rate for early action and regular admission, financial aid, and changes on the type of student that a college may accept. Examples such as: Being declined from USC, but accepted by Stanford or being accepted at Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford but waitlisted by Northwestern and University of Michigan. There also seemed to be a small shift in applying Early Decision and Early Action.
