Every week, we feature one of the most expensive homes on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

The $6.5 million price tag for 1696 Via Coronel in Palos Verdes Estates comes after a "huge price reduction," real estate agent Lily Liang writes on the property's AOL Real Estate listing.

The 9,422-square-foot house on more than two-thirds of an acre of property features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a "huge lobby," spacious living room, formal dining room, gourmet kitchen, library, media room and wine/cigar cellar. The house has two staff quarters with their own kitchen, laundry and dining facilities, too.

Outside, there's a tennis court with ocean views, a semi-outdoor gym and a swimming pool.

"This secluded estate boasts sensational panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from almost every room of the home," Liang writes. "This is one of a very few contemporary styled architectural estates on the hill with big windows filled with sunlight and views

Though the home was built in 1984, it underwent extensive renovations by architect Don Hendrickson during the last three years.

The property is represented by Liang and brokered by Peninsula Sotheby's International Realty. For more information, view the listing on AOL Real Estate.
