Median Rent in PV Above State Average

Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks calculates the median rent for U.S. Census tracts across the country.

Because the Palos Verdes Peninsula is one of the more affluent areas of Los Angeles County, it's no surprise that the median rents paid on The Hill are some of the highest.

According to the site Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks, which calculates the median income and rent for U.S. Census tracts from data provided in the American Community Survey, there are three census tracts on the Palos Verdes Peninsula with enough rental properties to calculate a median.

The lowest-priced rent is in Rolling Hills Estates, with a median of $1,373, plus or minus $370. The highest median rent is found in Rancho Palos Verdes at $1,957, plus or minus $144.
