Poll: Are You in Favor of an Official Off-Leash Dog Beach in RPV?

Council members will discuss the potential use of Rancho Palos Verdes Beach as an off-leash dog beach during their Feb. 21 meeting.

Rancho Palos Verdes City Council members on Tuesday are set to discuss turning Rancho Palos Verdes Beach into an off-leash dog beach.

Though city ordinances currently prohibit dogs on beaches and golf courses within the city, in addition to require dogs be leashed while in public parks, there are often dogs off leashes with their owners on the beach.

Future uses of the beach below will be considered during the council's Feb. 21 meeting. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at , 29301 Hawthorne Blvd.
