RPV Mayor Pro Tem Endorses Emenhiser for Council

Dave Emenhiser is one of eight candidates running for open seats on the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council.

Rancho Palos Verdes Mayor Pro Tem Anthony Misetich has endorsed Dave Emenhiser's candidacy for the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council.

will fill three open seats on the council. Emenhiser is one of eight candidates campaigning. He is currently a Rancho Palos Verdes planning commissioner and previously served on the RPV Finance Advisory Committee for four years and one term as its chairman. Emenhiser has also served as president of the Sea Bluff Homeowners Association on Long Point and has been active in RPV’s Council of Homeowner Associations (CHOA).

"I'm so grateful for [Misetich's] support this year," Emenhiser said in a statement Monday. "This is a very big endorsement for our campaign and one that will resonate with the voters of our wonderful city."

Additional candidates for the open Rancho Palos Verdes Council seats are Eric Alegria, small business owner and teacher; Susan Brooks, former Rancho Palos Verdes mayor; Ken Dyda, former Rancho Palos Verdes mayor; Dora de la Rosa, current PVPUSD Board of Education president; Jim Knight, current Rancho Palos Verdes planning commissioner; Jerry Duhovic; and Cynthia Smith.
