RPV Mayor Endorses 66th Assembly Candidate Craig Huey

Democrat Al Muratsuchi and Republican Craig Huey will face each other in the November election for the 66th Assembly District.

Rancho Palos Verdes Mayor Anthony Misetich has endorsed 66th Assembly District candidate Craig Huey.

Huey, a Republican, will face Democrat Al Muratsuchi in the November election for the Assembly District seat.

"I am pleased to endorse Craig Huey for State Assembly," Misetich said in a statement. "Craig has the experience and vision that are necessary if we are to begin turning California’s economy around and growing jobs in the South Bay. He’s the candidate with the ability to appeal to Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. More importantly, he won’t be just another Sacramento politician."

Of the 256,635 voters registered within the 66th District, only 54,334 people cast their ballots in June's primary election. Muratsuchi received 22,225 votes; Huey received 20,939; and Republican Nathan Mintz received 11,170.
