 The votes are in and the ballots were counted at city hall Tuesday evening in the Rolling Hills municipal election.

Rolling Hills voters will elect two city council members, as well as decide the fates of Measures A and B in one of the more exciting elections for the city in recent history.

Measure A Results

Shall an Ordinance be adopted amending the zoning ordinance to allow stables constructed prior to July 12, 2010 to be used for residential purposes?

Answer Votes % YES 359 44.4% NO 450 55.6%

Measure B Results

Shall an Ordinance be adopted amending the current view preservation regulations by limiting protection only to views that existed at the time the owner acquired the property, exempting trees that were mature when the property was acquired, and establishing a higher burden of proof to show the existence of a protected view?
