Residents Share Election Selections

Despite a low voter turnout, South Bay residents reveal who they supported at the polls in the Hermosa Beach and Rancho Palos Verdes municipal elections Tuesday.

Palos Verdes voters headed to the polls Tuesday to elect some old and new faces to and the local school board.

Former councilwoman and congressional candidate Susan Brooks, finance advisory committee member Jerry Duhovic and planning commissioner Jim Knight were the frontrunners for three open spots on the city council. Incumbent Larry Vanden Bos and Erin LaMonte were winners in the Board of Education race. Voters also passed . Read more about the results .
