PVE Mayor's Hopes, Wishes for 2012

Palos Verdes Estates Mayor John Rea pledges to 'preserve' quality of life for residents in the new year.

A new year fast approaching, Palos Verdes Patch asked mayors of the Peninsula's four cities to talk about their wishes for the holiday season and 2012.

Rolling Hills Estates Mayor Susan Seamans last week at , in addition to more skateboarding opportunities at Ernie Howlett Park.

Here's what Palos Verdes Estates Mayor John Rea had to say:

"The City Council will continue to preserve and enhance the already outstanding quality of life enjoyed by our residents, as recognized by The Business Journals which as the 6th best city in the Western United States (for quality of life). 

"Along with the city’s appointed commission and committee members and in the true spirit of public service, the council and these volunteers will continue to give of our time and talents and to serve without compensation, remuneration or personal agendas, for the benefit of the city and its residents."

Rea also expressed wishes for the residents of Palos Verdes Estates.

"The wish for our residents is for good health, good fortune and continued good life in PVE during 2012. Please drive safely at all times and observe the speed limits in our city," he said in an email.
