PVE Appoints New City Manager

Current Rolling Hills City Manager Anton Dahlerbruch is appointed to the position of city manager in Palos Verdes Estates.

The city of Palos Verdes Estates has a new city manager: current Rolling Hills City Manager Anton "Tony" Dahlerbruch, according to a news release from the city.

Dahlerbruch will replace interim City Manager Dan Dreiling. The position was vacated by former City Manager Judy Smith earlier this year.

Dahlerbruch, who has been a resident of the Palos Verdes Peninsula since 1996, holds a master's degree in public administration from American University in Washington D.C. He was appointed to the position of Rolling Hills city manager in 2006.

"I'm honored and excited to have been selected, and I look forward to working with the City Council, staff and community," Dahlerbruch said in a statement. "As a resident of the Peninsula, I know that Palos Verdes Estates is a great place, and can't wait to continue, build upon and enhance its fine traditions and qualities as a world class community."

In addition to his city manager position in Rolling Hills, Dahlerbruch serves as the Rolling Hills city clerk.

Dahlerbruch will assume his new post on June 3.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more updates.
