PV Voters to Cast Ballots in LACCD Race
Palos Verdes voters can cast their ballots for Nancy Pearlman or David Vela in the race for Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees Seat 6.
Registered voters on the Palos Verdes Peninsula can head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballot for a final member of the Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees.
In March, candidates Mike Eng and Ernest Moreno easily won Seats 2 and 4, respectively, on the Board of Trustees; however, Seat 6 incumbent Nancy Pearlman ended up in a runoff with top vote-getter David Vela, a member of the Montebello Unified School District Board of Education.
Harbor College is part of the Los Angeles Community College District, which covers all of the city of Los Angeles, as well as the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Residents wishing to vote in this election can find their polling place and sample ballot by visiting lavote.net/LOCATOR. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
