Poll: Do You Support the Trump Golf Club Hedgerow Proposal?

A public hearing will be held tonight to discuss a proposed hedgerow on the course's driving range. Tell us if you support the proposal in our poll.

A proposal for a hedgerow that would sit along the western edge of the driving range and measure up to 9.7 feet high at one end will be discussed tonight during a public hearing in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Rancho Palos Verdes City Council members will hold the Jan. 17 hearing to consider the proposal to plant one row of New Zealand Christmas Trees to form a hedgerow along the western edge of the driving range. The hedgerow is proposed to be 9.7 feet high at its northern end and would decrease to 6 feet high at its southern end.

"Rather than heated disputes, hopefully calmness will prevail and a common sense solution will triumph," local watchdog group PVP Watch said about the public hearing in its Jan. 13 newsletter. "Trump National is a valued asset to the Peninsula and should be given due consideration for their public efforts."
