Peter Weber, November Election on RHE Council Agendas

The Rolling Hills Estates City Council will hold an adjourned meeting and regular Council meeting today.

Council members will discuss potential managers for the Peter Weber Equestrian Center, in addition to canceling the city's November election at today's adjourned and regular meetings.

At the adjourned meeting, Council will discuss interviews for potential Peter Weber concessionaires. City Manager Doug Prichard at an Aug. 9 meeting. Council "will [then] decide who to negotiate with for a concession agreement," he said in a previous interview.

Council will also consider a recommendation to cancel the upcoming and re-appoint current Council members John Addleman, Judith Mitchell and Frank Zerunyan each to four-year terms of office.

Amendments to ordinances for the parking of over-sized vehicles on private property and in streets in residential zones also will be discussed.

Council will also discuss amendments to a municipal code that defines how many horses homeowners can have on their property.

Today's adjourned meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Rolling Hills Estates City Council Chambers, 4045 Palos Verdes Drive North. Tonight's regular Council meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the same location.
