Banks; U.S. financial markets; courthouses; and federal, state and county markets will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, a federal holiday.
Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates city halls will be closed in observance of the holiday; however, Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall will remain open.
Students in Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District get the day off, but Libraries in the Palos Verdes Library District will be open.
There will be no mail collection or delivery on Monday.
