Marymount College to Host RPV Council Candidates Forum

Six of the eight candidates for will meet tonight at a forum sponsored by . 

Candidates Susan Brooks, Dora de la Rosa, Jerry Duhovic, Ken Dyda, Dave Emenhiser and Jim Knight will participate in the forum at 7 p.m. in the Marymount College Auditorium, 30800 Palos Verdes Drive East.

They'll answer a specific set of questions, in addition to those from audience members.

This is the second forum this week for the candidates. Seven of the eight candidates Sept. 7 at . Candidates also met at a Hesse Park forum Oct. 5. Questions from audience members have touched on and , among other issues.

Candidates for the open Rancho Palos Verdes Council seats are Eric Alegria, small business owner and teacher; Brooks, former Rancho Palos Verdes mayor; Dyda, former Rancho Palos Verdes mayor; Emenhiser, current Rancho Palos Verdes planning commissioner; de la Rosa, current PVPUSD Board of Education president; Knight, current Rancho Palos Verdes planning commissioner; Duhovic, current vice chair of the RPV Finance Advisory Committee; and Cynthia Smith.
