Ex-PVE City Manager Named Redondo Beach Community Services Director
Joe Hoefgen is promoted from acting director to director of recreation and community services in Redondo Beach.
Former Palos Verdes Estates city manager Joe Hoefgen has been promoted from acting director to director of recreation and community services in Redondo Beach.
His promotion was announced during Tuesday's Redondo Beach City Council meeting.
Hoefgen as the Palos Verdes Estates city manager in June for reasons that have never been made public.

"Joe came out No. 1 in our candidate review," Redondo Beach City Manager Bill Workman said during Tuesday's meeting.
