City Council to Discuss Home Size Limits Tonight

Members of the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will consider a floor-area ratio.

City council members will consider a proposal to develop floor-area ratios for residential property in Rancho Palos Verdes at tonight's council meeting.

The city's Planning Commission rejected the maximum structure size proposal because of current regulations in the city that "help preserve the character of existing neighborhoods" and regulate residential construction.

The council also could affirm an earlier decision to withdraw from MAX, a commuter bus line, effective June 30.
