Bluff Cove Homes Up for Evaluation

The City of Palos Verdes Estates will discuss Bluff Cove properties during tonight's City Council meeting.

Palos Verdes Estates tonight is expected to approve a consulting firm to evaluate city properties at Bluff Cove and determine their "best economic use."

Some of the city-owned properties are currently being used as staff residences.

The city last reviewed the Bluff Cove properties in 2003.

The consultant would in part provide rent range estimates, estimate potential market values and help the city decide if it's best to rent, sell or designate some or all of the properties as open space.

Tonight's meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 340 Palos Verdes Drive West.
