Thieves Break into Home, Run off with Name-Brand Appliances

Reports from Rancho Palos Verdes sheriff's blotter.

Between 6 p.m. Jan. 27 and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 14, someone burglarized a home in the 4300 block of Miraleste Drive. According to the report, the suspect or suspects gained entry through bedroom window by breaking it. Stolen was a Viking range and a Subzero refrigerator.

Also:

Between 6 p.m. Feb. 12 and 6:45 the next morning, someone broke into a vehicle parked in the 26600 block of Honey Creek Road. Stolen were a briefcase, a Coach purse, a Coach pouch, a wallet and makeup bag. There were no signs of forced entry.

Between 1:30-3 p.m. Feb. 12, a petty theft was reported in the 29300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. According to the report, someone stole an iPhone 5. Deputies had no suspects.
