Shoplifter Was Thirsty, REALLY Thirsty

Somewhere between 2-2:45 p.m. on Feb. 2, a house in the 28100 block of Highridge Road was burglarized. There were no signs of forced entry. Stolen were an Apple Mac Book, a woman’s wallet, a New York driver’s license and a folder containing miscellaneous paperwork.

Sometime between 3-5:30 p.m. on Feb. 4, someone attempted to burglarize a house in the 26900 block of Whitestone Road. The resident came home to find a door handle broken and pry marks on the metal door jamb. Nothing was taken. Deputies have no suspects.

On Feb. 7, someone reported a theft in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. According to the report, shoplifters tried to walk out with two 30-packs of Bud Light. One suspect was arrested. Two got away.
