Sheriff's Deputies: Lock Your Cars

Thieves are targeting unsecured vehicles on the peninsula.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies are warning peninsula residents and visitors to lock their vehicles following several recent thefts.

The thefts have been from vehicles left unlocked, according to the bulletin from the Lomita station.

“Small things like locking car doors or hiding valuables, electronics, and even car chargers from plain sight can prevent you from becoming a victim,” according to the release.
