RHE Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

Jay Martin Glaser was the only person inside the vehicle.

A 50-year-old man was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Torrance, the Coroner's Office said Sunday.

Jay Martin Glaser, a resident of Rolling Hills Estates, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:05 a.m. Saturday by the Torrance Fire Department, from a crash in the 300 block of Palos Verdes Boulevard, said Coroner's Lt. Fred Corral.

Corral said Glaser was the only person inside his vehicle.

A watch commander from the Torrance Police Department could not be reached for immediate comment.

Glaser worked as a defense attorney in the law firm of Long Beach-based Glaser, Damone and Schroeder, according to the Long Beach Press-Telegram.
