RPV Blotter: Black Sabbath CD, $5,000 Stolen

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lomita Station supplied this information on crime in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lomita Station reported the following crimes and arrests in Rancho Palos Verdes for the week spanning Nov. 17 through Dec. 7.

One person was arrested on suspicion of identity theft. Four people were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. One person was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct. One person was arrested on drug charges. One person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. One person was arrested on suspicion of battery. One person was arrested on suspicion of possessing a suspended license.

Dec. 7; 30100 block of Matisse Drive.
A gold pendant, gold women's ring with a purple stone, gold earrings with a purple stone, $3,300 in cash, checks and other women's jewelry were stolen at some point between Nov. 28 and Dec. 7. There were no signs of first entry

Dec. 5; 31400 block of Marne Drive.
Someone took a Hewlett Packard laptop and a Black Sabbath CD between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.. There were no signs of forced entry.

Dec. 1; 5300 block of Bayridge Road.
Between midnight and 5 a.m., someone stole a Titlist golf club set, a Kagen 2nd driver, Bushnell Tour B-3 range finder, Nike golf shoes, an iPhone 5S, $20 and a gold ring. The burglar also entered the victim's vehicle parked in the garage.

Nov. 26, 10:36 a.m.; 28600 block of Seamount Drive.
Four suspects were arrested in connection with an attempted burglary. According to police, the suspects parked their vehicle in the victim's driveway, and two of the suspects came running from behind the victim's house.

Nov. 21; 29300 block of Stadia Hill Lane.
At some point between noon and 3 p.m., a burglar removed the screen from a side window and stole $5,000, a Nikon spotting scope lens and miscellaneous women's jewelry.

Nov. 21; 3500 block of Starline Drive.
The rear sliding glass door of a residence was found open. Nothing was taken.

Petty theft

Dec. 4; 20100 block of Tarapaca Road.
Between 6 p.m. Dec. 3 and 8:15 a.m. Dec. 4, someone stole a sub woofer and its case from an unlocked vehicle.

Dec. 4; Via Subida
Someone stole a Motorola Razr cellphone, dentist uniforms, a Hurley bag and a gray sweater from an unlocked vehicle between 10 p.m. Dec. 3 and 6 a.m. Dec. 4.

Nov. 29; 30400 block of Via Rivera.
Between 10 a.m. Nov. 28 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 29, someone stole a women's wallet, California driver's license and $20 from an unlocked vehicle.

Nov. 29; 30400 block of Via Victoria.
Between 6 p.m. Nov. 28 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 29, an iPod Touch was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway.

Nov. 25; 5500 block of Ironwood Drive.
Between 5 p.m. Nov. 24 and 8 a.m. Nov. 25, someone stole a Garmin GPS and a Swiss Army knife from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway.

Grand theft auto

Nov. 19; 32600 block of Nantasket Lane.
Between 11 p.m. Nov.18 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 19, someone stole a gray 2004 Dodge Ram pickup.
