Pedestrian Struck, Killed by SUV

The incident occurred in the early morning hours Monday.

A man was struck and killed by an SUV in San Pedro early Monday morning, a Los Angeles police lieutenant said.

The incident occurred at 3:05 a.m. at Gaffey and Anaheim streets, according to Los Angeles police Lt. Robert Rivers.

Traffic detectives were still at the scene at 5:50 a.m.
