The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department reported the following crimes and arrests in Palos Verdes Estates for the week spanning Jan. 14-20.

Theft

Jan. 15; 300 block of Via Corta
Between July and Jan. 15, someone entered a common apartment garage area and stole suitcases from an open storage space.

Warrant arrest

Jan. 16, 11:16 p.m.; Intersection of Palos Verdes Drive West and Cloyden Road
An officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver on an outstanding warrant.

Driving under the influence

Jan. 17, 2:10 a.m.; 3800 block of Via Palomino
An officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jan. 18, 11:13 p.m.; Intersection of Via del Puente and Via Corta
An officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. A passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Vehicle burglaries

Jan. 18; Intersection of Via del Monte and Paseo del Sol
Between 10:15 a.m. and 11:10 a.m., someone pried open and broke the front passenger window of a vehicle and stole a purse from the passenger foot well.

Jan. 18; Intersection of Via del Monte and Paseo del Sol
Between 10:45 a.m. and 11:10 a.m., someone pried open and broke the rear passenger window and stole a purse from the backseat. 

Traffic offense

Jan. 18, 9 p.m.; 300 block of Paseo del Mar
An officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving without a license.
