The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department reported the following crimes and arrests in Palos Verdes Estates for the week spanning Oct. 8-14.

Traffic offensesOct. 10; Paseo del Mar and Cloyden Road
An officer conducted a traffic stop at 10:47 a.m. and arrested the driver for driving without a valid license and an outstanding warrant.
Oct. 10; Palos Verdes Drive North and Via Campesina
An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1:38 a.m. and cited the driver for driving on a suspended license.
Oct. 11; 1800 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
An officer arrested a driver for driving under a suspended license at 10:49 p.m. while the officer was conducting a traffic stop.
Drunk drivers
Oct. 11; 2000 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
An officer conducted a traffic stop at around 3 a.m. and arrested the driver for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, or DUI.
Oct. 12; Palos Verdes Boulevard and Catalina Avenue
An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. and arrested the driver for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Drugs
Oct. 10; 3100 Palos Verdes Drive North
An officer conducted a traffic stop at around 11 p.m. and arrested the driver for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The passenger was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant arrests
Oct. 13; 2200 block of Paseo del Mar
An officer investigating a suspicious vehicle parked in the area at around 5:19 a.m. arrested one occupant on an outstanding warrant.
Oct. 13; 2300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
Officers conducted a traffic stop at 1:06 p.m. and arrested the driver for misappropriation of lost property. A passenger was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Cliff Incident
Oct. 13; 700 block of Paseo del Mar
Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at 2:47 p.m. and located a female hiker who had fallen approximately 70 feet to the bottom of the cliff. The victim was stabilized at the scene then airlifted to a local hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
