Palos Verdes Crime: Laundry Room Burglary

The following information on Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, Rolling Hills and Westfield crime was supplied by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lomita Station.

The reported the following crimes and arrests for the week spanning Aug. 5 through last Saturday.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES

Police recorded one arrest on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Storage room burglary
Aug. 3-Aug. 5; 5700 block of Ravenspur Road
Someone stole an air compressor, a pressure washer, a leaf blower, $10 in quarters and a metal coin drawer from a storage room and a laundry room in an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Road.

Attempted residential burglary
Aug. 9; 1900 block of Santa Rena Drive
A woman saw a white four-door Pontiac or Buick leaving her residence and her gate open when she arrived home. The slightly pulled open window indicated that a burglar had tried to break in through the window. The victim described the person leaving her property as a 30-year-old white woman.

Vehicular burglary
Aug. 5; 19500 block of Enrose Avenue
Someone smashed the rear passenger-side window of a vehicle parked in the 19500 block of Enrose Avenue and stole a bag, flat iron, makeup and miscellaneous clothing from the car. A golf club was left at the scene.

Grand theft auto
Aug. 5; 100 block of Packet Road
A black 2006 four-door Hyundai Sonata was stolen from a residential neighborhood.

Aug. 6; 100 block of Terranea Way
A green 2010 Ford Explorer was stolen from a parking lot at the .

Petty theft
Aug. 6; 4200 block of Dauntless Drive
Someone snatched a black and a silver motion light from the front lawn of a residence and drove away in a white vehicle.
