Palos Verdes Crime: BB Gun Vandalism

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Palos Verdes Estates Police Department supplied this information on crime in Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, Rolling Hills, Westfield and Palos Verdes Estates.

The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department reported the following crimes and arrests in Palos Verdes Estates for the week spanning Dec. 19 through Sunday.

Palos Verdes Estates

One person was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and 5 people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Dec. 19, 8:07 a.m.; 500 block of Via Almar
Someone took a car without the victim's knowledge or permission and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Dec. 20, 10:35 p.m.; Intersection of Via Riviera and Via Carrillo
During a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Dec. 21, 1:45 a.m.; 1100 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
During a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Dec. 21, 2:46 a.m.; 3700 block of Palos Verdes Drive North
During a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Dec. 22, 2:00 a.m.; Intersection of Palos Verdes Drive West and Via Zumaya
During a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Dec. 23, 2:56 p.m.; 100 block of Palos Verdes Drive North
During a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Vandalism

Dec. 21; 2300-2800 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
Someone used a BB gun to shoot the windows of two parked vehicles and one residence. The person then fled the location in an unknown direction.

Traffic Offense

Dec. 20, 9:59 a.m.; Intersection of Via Valmonte and Palos Verdes Drive North
During a traffic stop, an officer arrested the driver of the vehicle on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
