Palos Verdes Crime: Arrests, Incidents June 17-23

Editor's Note: This article has been revised. An earlier version incorrectly stated a grand theft incident in the 3300 block of Palos Verdes Drive North occurred in Rancho Palos Verdes. That location is actually in Rolling Hills Estates. 

A look at recent crimes and arrests on the Palos Verdes Peninsula compiled from 's June 17-23 reports:

Rancho Palos Verdes

ARRESTS

One spousal assault arrest, one DUI arrest, one narcotics arrest, one battery arrest, one vehicle law arrest.

INCIDENTS

Vehicle burglary:

• 6 p.m. June 16 to 8:20 a.m. June 18, 5900 block of Armaga Springs Road. The driver's side door was forced open. A Bluetooth device was reported stolen. 
• 11 a.m. June 17 to 8 a.m. June 18, 5900 block of Armaga Springs Road. The front passenger door was forced open. Two chargers, a Bluetooth device, duffel bag and backpack were reported stolen.
• 4 p.m. June 23 to 7 a.m. June 24, 6100 block of Arrowroot Lane. Someone forced open a lock. A hand bag, organizer, car key, two prescription glasses and a personal check were reported stolen.

Stolen car: 5 p.m. June 17, 28600 block Via Madera. Two-door, 2004 Mercedes.

Residential burglary:

• 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22, 7200 block of Berry Hill Drive. Someone cut the window screen. The loss was unknown at the time of the report. 
• 7:30 a.m. June 18 to 7 p.m. June 21, 28600 block of Shire Oaks Drive. Someone forced open the garage door. A laptop, video camera, camera, jewelry box and jewelry were reported stolen.

Rolling Hills

ARRESTS

No arrests were reported.

INCIDENTS

Grand theft: 10 a.m. to noon June 25, 10 block of Outrider Road. Someone entered through a gate. Pool equipment and a propane tank were reported stolen.

Rolling Hills Estates

ARRESTS

Two narcotics arrests and one DUI arrest.

INCIDENTS

Grand theft:

• 8 a.m. May 1, 2011 to 8 p.m. March 30, 2012, 30 block Misty Acres Drive. Unknown method of entry. Two silver sets were reported stolen.
• 6:30 a.m. June 17, 2400 block of Palos Verdes Drive North. Unknown method of entry. Nine batteries were reported stolen.
• 8:55 a.m. June 12, 3300 block of Palos Verdes Drive North. Unknown method of entry. Five batteries were reported stolen.
