Palos Verdes Estates
Police arrested one person on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, three on suspicion of driving under the influence, two on warrants and one person related to a traffic offense.

Aug. 28, 4400 block of Via Pinzon
An unknown suspect created reprints of checks, filled them out, forged the victim's name and cashed the checks at an unknown location.

Aug. 29, 1500 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
A live-in housekeeper at a residence allegedly stole multiple personal items from the home between June and July 2012.
Possession of Methamphetamine

Officers made contact with an illegally parked vehicle and arrested one of its occupants on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.

Officers arrested a suspect on suspicion of DUI after a person called to report the driver
8:17 p.m., Sept. 1, 300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of the driver on suspicion of DUI
Vandalism
Aug. 31, Intersection of Via Coronel and Via Olivera
Unknown suspects spray painted the cement drainage ditch near the running trail west of the 1800 block of Via Olivera sometime within the last year.
Warrant Arrest
9:53 p.m., Sept. 1, Intersection of Via Fernandez and Via Zurita
During a welfare check on a driver, the driver was arrested on suspicion of providing a false a name and for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

1:23 a.m., Sept. 2, 300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
A driver was arrested during a traffic stop on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and for allegedly possessing drug paraphernalia.

A driver who was allegedly in possession of a fake driver's license and also driving without a license was arrested during a traffic stop.

An unknown suspect stole a black 2006 Toyota Tacoma from a residential street.
Vehicle Burglaries
Aug. 26, 3200 block La Rotonda
An unknown person smashed the rear passenger side window of a vehicle and stole a purse, wallet and drivers license. Another car at the same location also had its front passenger side window smashed and purses, wallets and drivers licenses stolen.
Grand Theft Auto
Aug. 26-27, 29600 block Western Avenue
A grey 2003 Nissan Murano SUV was stolen from a parking lot by an unknown suspect.
Residential Burglary
Aug. 26, 27300 block Warrior Drive
$300 in currency, bracelets and a ring were stolen from a residence. The owner of the residence said the cleaning lady could be a possible suspect.
Petty Theft (Vehicle)
Aug. 31 - Sept. 1, 2000 block General Street
An unknown suspect stole a radio, vehicle manual, registration card, insurance card and CDs from a vehicle on a residential street.
Residential Burglary

An unknown suspect broke into a residence through a garage window and stole undisclosed items.
Rolling Hills Estates
Deputies arrested two individuals on suspicion of driving under the influence and one individual on suspicion of domestic violence. No crimes were reported.
